All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts

Our own lives are our main focus, but they are only fleeting parts of the larger world. Like a hotel lobby with guests constantly passing through, we all make entrances and exits in our life, as do the people in our life. We all are different things at different times in our lives and we often play these 'roles' at the same time. We enter others' lives to accomplish something, good or bad, and then we depart.
